Proud Official Club Sponsor of Botley Village FC
Botley Village Football Club is supported by local families in Hedge End and Botley with children from 8-12 years old. As part of our community support projects we are extremely proud to be the club's Official Sponsor.
Steve White comments: "As most of the team at for Whitehorn & Guard have lived and grown up in Botley and Hedge End, we were delighted to be contacted by Botley FC who were looking to find a club official sponsor covering all their teams. We are really looking forward to working with the football club and hope that our commitment to sponsorship enables the club to build on previous success and give local children the benefit of having an outstanding football club on their doorstep."
Rick Rosewarn, Vice Chairman at the club says: "As we finish the 2011/12 Season we are pleased with the clubs progress this year. We have started a saturday soccer school for kids aged 4 to 7 years old, in partnership with Brazilian Soccer which has been a fantastic success. We have a new club sponsor in Whitehorn & Guard estate agents which is the best news we could have received and we had league wins for the under 11's and under 15's."

Supporting the WHAM7 garden project at Swanmore College
Last December, knowing that Government cuts might affect some of the funding for extra curricular activities, Whitehorn & Guard approached Swanmore College of Technology to see if there was a need for external funding and support. We met Deputy Head, Clare Baker, who revealed how their plans for the WHAM7 garden project would be affected by a withdrawal of funding. The WHAM7 project, which has been sponsored by More Than Schools, involves pupils from the four pastoral houses (Whittle, Hawking, Attenborough, MacArthur and Year 7) tending a new conservation site at the college where pupils will be responsible for growing their own food.
We immediately agreed to contribute £1600 to enable to the college to purchase the most essential components for the project; top soil and a state-of-the-art greenhouse for the pupils.
‘We cannot thank Whitehorn & Guard Estate Agents in Bishop’s Waltham enough,’ said Clare. ‘The team has very kindly agreed to buy us a greenhouse and top soil for our garden and we look forward to welcoming them to the site to see the greenhouse when it arrives.’

Botley C of E Primary School Donation
Dear Mr White,
I am writing to thank you and your company sincerely for the recent donation of £1,900 you made to our school, and which we will be using for a new football kit for our Year 5/6 football team. It will also go towards outdoor musical instruments to help us complete improvement work on our Reception Unit playground. We're extremely grateful for your generosity, which has helped us provide some additional resources for the school and for the benefit of the children here at Botley.
Sian Tomlin, Headteacher, Botley C of E Primary School.
