Rent Collections

Our rent collection service includes arranging for tenants to pay their rent monthly by standing order and accounting to you monthly. In the event that payments are late, we’re on hand to resolve the issue and ensure future payments are made promptly.

Fully Managed Lettings Service

Some landlords prefer to rely on Whitehorn & Guard’s fully managed lettings service and leave us to take care of everything associated with the rental of your property or property portfolio.

If you’re too busy to oversee your property rental or perhaps are based abroad, Whitehorn & Guard’s highly trained property management team will ensure your property is monitored and maintained with the utmost care.

The fees for our fully managed service are tailored to suit individual requirements and cover a range of activities, including arranging routine checks, repairs and maintenance, insurance, payments of outgoings, liaising with contractors, utility companies, surveyors and tenants, resolving problems and reconciling deposit returns, damage repairs and end of tenancy claims when the rental period concludes.

David has 18 years’ experience in the rental market and is an individual member of ARLA. He started out working for one of the largest corporate agents, working alongside Andrew Horn, before moving to an independent agent where he remained for 13 years having become an equity partner.

Louise White, Lettings Consultant

As part of our lettings team Lou is responsible for dealing with both landlords and tenants, as well as carrying out many of the accompanied viewings that take place. She is also instrumental in ensuring all of our systems within the office run smoothly and sees customer service as her priority and main strength. Anyone dealing with her feels instantly at ease in her company. She grew up in the area and still lives locally with her husband and two children.
